Background

Hello!  My name is Nolan Hoppe-Leonard.  I began my own journey into Pilates in 2014 with Jenevieve Neros (CPT) as a means of injury prevention in dance. Feeling the positive effects on my body even after just a few sessions, I was hooked.

In 2015, I had the privilege of studying with Karen Clippinger (Exercise Science Specialist and author of Dance Anatomy and Kinesiology), taking my first step towards becoming a BASI certified Pilates Instructor.

After a few years of teaching, I found myself working with a couple of clients who had MS.  Seeing the positive effects of adding this movement practice into their lives, I was drawn more and more towards working with clients affected by neurological conditions.  In 2018, as a means to continue down that path, I was able to study with Meghann Koppele (Applied Physiology Specialist and Co-Founder of TheNeuroRehabMovement) to receive a teaching specialization geared towards applying Pilates to help clients with a range of neurological issues.

Upon moving back to Bellingham, Washington in 2019, I am excited to make new connections and meet new clients!

It is my goal to offer the very best Pilates instruction to each client I meet!
